If you were at college or high school and you had a person who hated dogs and wanted to hurt them how would you react to them?

Well, there is nothing wrong in disliking animals or pets but yes to hurt them intentionally is never a good thing.

If I had such a person in the class then I would not keep any contact with that person.

I would not like them one bit. Keep my dogs away from that person. If they ever saw them hurt one I make sure it was caught so I could report his ass that is animal cruelty

No, just the opposite. There are plenty of people that deserve a good beat down but animals do not except for the coyote that killed my cat.
