What would you do if you found that your son at say 18 was dating women sometimes twice his age and was hiding it but living with you?

I personally don't think I have done anything wrong when I did that since I was a adult but also did not want to hurt anyone or cause a big problem. Neither did they

I just wonder what you would think? To put a long story short I don't think they would approve of it anyways I really still like this woman even though we aren't really together anymore just knowing things would not work

18 and older sorry. NONE of it was under 18. I met the one I am talking about at 17 but really did not kind of "get together" until later one. We did not fool around if you know what I mean but age of consent is 17 anyways

I just remember she honestly was a normal woman other then her work schedule and some of the stuff that she went through. I remember one time she cried on me after she seen something horrible she had a call where someone shot his whole family and then shot himself and the family dog.

I won't get into details but she was so strong to carry so much hurt around and that I guess she kept inside all this time. It was really gut wrenching. She told me so many nice things.

She told me how good it felt to have someone hold her and make her feel protected after having to hold her own all day/night. But that she also always had my back if I needed her. How special it was that she had someone to cry on after having to be strong and how she can't break out in tears at every fucked up thing she seen dead bodies babies that were dead that were just in horrible situations like melted into a carpet and somehow the mother was gone and never even knew. Some of it was just horrific and like nothing you ever seen on TV.

She told me that seeing me gave her hope in the world after seeing so much bad stuff. We laughed and cried together. She did not really talk about work all the time though but her strories were sometimes very entertaining.

I just was sneaky about it and she kind of wanted me to open up more about it and neither one of us were ashamed of each other we just knew things would not go over well

We also shared a lot of the same beliefs I went through hell for refusing the COVID shot. I really did. It was nice seeing someone who seen eye to eye. Nobody really believed in me in a LONG time and no matter how hard I try I always get shut down.

My parents are getting divorced now... That is a long story.

I guess all relationships are there for a reason... But only for a season while others last a lifetime. I feel like it would just cause a mess if I brought her around and people found how far back we went and wondering how we met (a Christmas party).

We are on good terms though but we don't talk much anymore.
