Do people actually care if you use android or iPhone in terms of dating?

I heard that people care. I know I dont, but I'm also a technological dinosaur. I use an iPhone and I have to admit that it is mildly irritating to text with Android users who aren't using WhatsApp or another designated texting app. It kind of seems like regular texting isn't as reliable as iMessage or WhatsApp/GroupMe.

Like I said though, I don't really care. What do you guys think?

Unless it's about a specific program (I suppose I'm a technological horseshoe crab, because my phone runs PROGRAMS., dammit), I find it downright depressing that that would be an issue for ANYONE. Not hard to believe, but depressing.

I had a girl going "OMG is that the new iPhone 13" when I took out my phone and I was like "I don't know, I guess so".

She also could have just said that because it was the new thing. I have to admit that texting with non-iPhone users is a little bit less enjoyable, but some people told me that they see it as a red flag when someone doesn't use an iPhone lol

That to me is a very strange thing to care about if you're dating someone. I would never date someone that actually cared about that. It's borderline psychotic.
