Should I bother with this guy?

I was talking to a guy on a dating app (he messaged me first), but he took to reply, then he replied days later and apologised, and then a week later and mentioned he was getting back to me late again, and then asked me out. I don't know if this is a red flag or not. I know he is probably talking to other girls, but taking days to reply puts me off. His replies aren't short though.

I think it's perfectly fine, slow replies are usually very annoying, but on dating apps? I honestly forget and it's not like I don't like you or anything, I just don't know you, that's what a date is for. That said you should probably ask him to do a little bit of small talk if you're uncomfortable to jumping straight to a date.
So in my opinion there's nothing wrong with him not answering fast and even not messaging you for days, but you also might want to chat a bit online before anything else (and if he can't keep up a convo after you tell him this, then yeh, tough luck)

Slow replies mean low or no interest. You probably put him off somehow.
