Is it a bad idea to get the contact of a guy working at a holiday store?

I’m in a vacation with my family and I thought that a store owner was cute but it’s awkward because I’m barely alone. Plus he saw me look at him once. And also I feel that meeting someone while they are working is a bad idea because ur not really meeting organically or through a common ground. Just pass? Or is it worth visiting that store? Also I would be leaving this city in 2 days so it might not even be worth the effort

Oh I actually asked him for his contact and he gave it to me. Actually it was slightly awkward because I asked him to message me if he comes to my city and he was like sureee but there was an awkward pause. And then the woman in the store was like “yeahhh you totally should hang” . Good thing is I left on the same say so there won’t be awkwardness anymore. He likes the pics I’m posting so far so maybe we will talk in the future but im not sure 😂😂😂😂😂
