Is it true attractive guys choose combination personality and attractiveness when deciding who to date?

Like Mark Zuckerberg liked Priscilla Chan cause she’s smart. And John Lennon liked Yoko Ono because she had that Japanese exotic pacifism and her artistic skill and Ice T liked Coco cause she was with him when he was struggling and Ice T is able to get better looking girls. Do you think that some men value personality or intelligence more than just looks? There is also the reality that people have different views on what is beautiful, many celebrities that others consider beautiful are hideous to me but I’m sure I like celebrities that others consider to be ugly.

He is relatively smart (maybe average for Harvard kids though), ambitious and very wealthy. The last quality is why a woman would choose him, although I don't know Priscilla so can't judge. He did pay for her medical school.

I don't think there's any specific trend when it comes to "attractive guys". I think it depends what makes a guy attractive to you. If you're talking about guys who are physically handsome, some are douche bags and some are angels.

If you're talking about guys who are famous and successful, it also depends although there is some correlation between fame and chauvinism. Take Jeff Bezos for instance. He had a beautiful, intelligent and supportive wife who followed him across the country, and helped him build his empire. And he dumped her for a chick that's not even as pretty, but is probably more sexually wild in the sack.

Bottom line, there are all kinds of guys. I think there are a number of them who are looking for more than just physical beauty.

People tend to marry those that are similar to them. Statistics and research has proven this. Pay no mind to the misogynists on here who like to claim that men only value a woman's looks or sexiness. Intelligent well educated men tend to marry intelligent well educated women. Poor men tend to marry poor women. Rich men tend to marry rich women.

Yes. Looks have almost more of a multiplier effect. A nice girl who is pretty seems nicer. An asshole who is pretty seems like a total douche. I imagine this is very much the case for guys as well.

I do and I think most guys and women are too. A good Personality is way more important than looks. Looks can't get you through a tough time. Looks can't cheer you up when you feel down. Looks can't make you laugh (they can but you know what I mean). Looks can't keep an interesting conversation going either.

I believe ANY person does if they are looking for a long term relationship. For me, even short term this matters. I think it may not SEEM that way with how many guys treat women (and we just don't talk about it as much), but doesn't mean we don't or that it's not important.
