I have to ask this, as a white man; I'm really getting tired of being chatised (particularly by white chicks) for not doing enough to "emotionally validate" the black experience, as if that would somehow make being black in America better. Do you guys even care about that stuff? I guess what I'm trying to ask is; what do you guys actually want and need? Like, what's something I can do, as a white man to actually make your life better?

Because it doesn't seem like validating people's experiences does anything. And frankly, I'm getting sick of being told that I'm a piece of crap by rich, entitled people who expect me to shoulder the emotional burdens of a group of people whose lives... (and I really do say this with all the respect in the world) don't seem to getting better from group therapy sessions.

What do black people want and need? The same thing that every human being wants and needs. We all want to live and enjoy life. We all need respect, not criticism and hate.

Its not hard to make black friends or Asian friends or Mexican friends or Caribbean friends. All you have to do is ask them questions about their culture and dont impose your opinions on them. They will tell u everything about their culture if u want to learn. Just be cool.

Yeah a lot of black people can have an attitude because they feel as if they've been wronged. Do/did they deserve to be harassed and slurred more by fellow black people than other races? Does the left own the black vote? I think individuals are capable of making their own decisions for the record. How have other people in the black community justified voting for the party of the KKK to you if they have even tried to do so? How have people in the black community justified their support of the political descendants of Jim Crow? If the topic of guns comes up, how does that tend to go? On the one hand according to crime statistics black families are most likely to need a gun for home or self defense, but on the other hand are also most likely to have lost someone they care about to gun violence; how has your experience of this discussion played out? Has welfare saved or destroyed the black family? I have access to the statistics but I would be very interested in hearing from someone who is in a better position to have firsthand knowledge. That’ll have to do for now, if you ask again in the future I might have more questions. What would you like to ask a white person? A lot of Black people don’t even feel as if the political world is for us anyway so some don’t even get involved. But when it comes down to regular human rights and that’s when we have a problem. When it’s money that we earn ourselves and we make then yes we get involved.

I understand what you’re asking. And no Biden is not correct if you’re voting Democrat doesn’t mean that you’re not black that has something to do with biology and genetics DNA. People believe that Democrats are built for Black people when in actuality it’s built for people to have power. People also believed that Republicans are just the elitist nation of people who don’t give a damn about anybody else.
I thought we are passed Jim Crow. When it comes down to guns a lot of the black community in the beginning didn’t believe in them due to religious reasons. But now a good Portion of Black people are arming up I even have my license. You never know with anyone race or otherwise.

Welfare is not heavily populated with black families if you really look into it. It could be both a hindrance and help motivation to do better and crutch

So the first black people in congress were all republicans, probably because the Republican Party was founded for the purpose of abolition of slavery originally. The first Republican President presided over the war that ended American slavery. The civil rights acts were all sponsored by republicans, including the one that was shot down by Kennedy and Johnson do that they could take credit for it in 1964. The Democrat party created a terrorist organization to keep blacks from exercising their rights that republicans gave them after the civil war. The Democrat party kept trying to pass legislation at the state and local level in its territories to undermine black rights and freedoms even into the 1970’s. The Democrat party would still have legal slavery if the party founded on abolition (Republicans) didn’t stop them. As for welfare I understand that since there are more white families more white families are on it but what I was asking was something else. There was a point where the black in-wedlock birth rate was higher than the white in-wedlock birth rate. Do you think that welfare, which makes single motherhood economically viable, played a role in the percentage of out of wedlock birth/single motherhood rate? Black families were stronger and were doing better raising stronger kids with both parents in the house than white people were at one point, so in light of that do you think welfare has destroyed the strong black family? My apologies if I should have added more detail up front.

Okay, it's probably not all black people, but from my travels and personal experiences, and also reading stuff and talking to other people, I've noticed a lot of black people hate having their picture taken, and lose their shit when they see a camera. And I'm not talking about shoving it in their face without permission, but I've had black people yell at me simply for pointing a camera at a public landmark, which they happened to be standing in front of. And my vlogger friend said she was yelled at for filming blacks in a public market.

Then in my government class in college, everyone brought a picture for the teacher except the black kid who made a huge fuss about it.

I only know the Rastafarians believe it'll steal their soul, but how many blacks are rasta? And before you say this could apply to anyone, I've very rarely experienced this problem with other races.

Black people aren't dumb. Or at least not any dumber than what any other race has to offer.

There are a lot of reasons black people don't get licenses, some that are their own fault, some that are not and some that are something else entirely.

Like if you live in Harlem or the Bronx or pretty much any other city, getting a car is a bigger deal there than it is for other people and there's really no need for it.

And yea, some black people are just lazy as hell. But I think the most important reason for other people to understand why a lot of black people don't have cars is ultimately because you don't NEED a car to pay your bills or make money. Maybe I don't want a car because I don't think I should have to go through all the bullshit, take the written test, wait months and months and pay a driving school to take another test which I might need to take again, pay the driving school again so I can use their car. It's a lot of work and it costs money.

And most of all, it's dumb how hard and expensive it is. People don't realise enough, there's a lot of things you just, it's not your responsibility to do. You don't HAVE to get a license. It doesn't NEED to be a source of stress.

Well to be honest everyone has their assumptions on people not just Black people and in some situations due to the conditions of the neighborhood or some public school education within that community we may not have all of the amenities that are white counterparts have. Lots of black kids grow up in the suburbs. Some black kids grow up in wealthy families and in wealthy neighborhoods. Like me, I didn't grow up in the hood using slang words. I was raised by Jamaican parents that taught me manners, morals and how to speak properly. Even tho i was born in New York i lost my accent because i never needed to use it. If i grew up with kids who were from the hood i might have had a more "black" accent but i didn't. I've been told i sound white over the phone

When I went and new in the moment what I wanted to do but after which words my heart and leave me to that. Plus I had too many things going on back home for me to really even dream or focus. But there of been many success stories some don’t actually require a degree to do so. But other places have free community colleges

I am joking because I don't even know what I'd "ask a black person." I honestly don't care about race. Like, at all.
