How would you feel if you confessed to someone and they just walked away?

It happened to me, I confessed to a friend I liked a lot in front of the door of her apartment and she looked at me, shaking her head, then she opened the door, went in without saying a word and closed it.
I felt devastated and destroyed for months, it’s worse than be friendzoned. I was 17, so it has happened in a time I was particularly sensible so it hit me also harder.
Being ignored probably is one of the worst punishments that exist for a person in love… also ignored by a person I believed was a friend.

Sure, she could have acted in different ways. But mainly I blame myself because I was young and stupid to not realise she was a complete asshole.
