Tell me if this is wrong or not…?

My boyfriend moved 3 1/2 hours away so we decided I would drive myself and come stay for one month. I had plans to go home at the end of the first week and do something for two days but those plans were cancelled. Now he’s slightly suggesting to me that I leave his home for a while. He keeps asking me if I’m going home or not and if I do will I come right back in a few days. As if it’s a 30 minute drive and gas isn’t almost $5 a gallon. I just said I would get a hotel in his city and stay there because I don’t feel like driving all those hours and I’ve only been here a little under a week. Also, I picked up a side job here. He doesn’t try to stop me from getting a hotel and spending hundreds of dollars that I need to spend on other stuff that he knows about. I keep telling him just to tell me if he needs a break but he says I’m putting too much pressure on him to want him to say that. I’m js I’m ok with leaving someone’s space but don’t try to make it seem like that’s not what it is because you don’t want to seem like you’re going back on your word of me staying a month. What should I do?
