This is a true story.
I have a small business where I constantly meet new people every single day. Often, 1/4 girls that I communicate with get interested in me that have a boyfriend already. Some of them follow me on instagram and some have even asked me out. Then there was this one girl who was engaged and invited me anyway to get coffee together. I told her “no, you have a boyfriend.” She replied, “it’s just coffee. He won’t care.” I never responded to her.

But it feels like they automatically see an upgrade option. The only thing I can compare this to is trading in your old car for a new one given the chance. What is the deal?

Thankfully my boyfriend is the cutest and we’re super compatible so no I wouldn’t trade him for anything. There are some things that I wish I could change about him but he’s still the best overall.
