Guys, do you notice when another guy is checking a girl out?

The other day I was out with a friend, and we met a guy, whom I started talking to. When the conversation was the friend I was with (a guy friend) told me that the guy was super into me and it showed, and I should have done something about it. I didn't notice it at all, and I was wondering if guys notice when another guy is interested.

Yes because chances are I’m checking out the same girl. Superficially as far as liking things we may all have different interest as far as types of pizza we like, drinks, sports, but rooted deep down men seem to like a lot of the same things when it comes to women.

Depends, "we met a guy, whom I started talking to", how exactly? Sometimes it's very obvious, like if a guy approaches you and starts a conversation (guys don't just do this with random women ever), but if you started talking to him first, then might be different. But like women with women, I think we "know" to some degree because we know the behavior being the same sex. But it's not always obvious. Depends on the guy and circumstances.
