But at least he is not sexist, racist or whatever.
Girls, would you date a wage slave?
But at least he is not sexist, racist or whatever.
I would like the ability for my prospect and I to have options for fun, little splurging, and can handle some life emergencies without breaking them. Not extravagant items or trips. A few trips a year would be nice and I don't mind splitting or paying, but if they want something nice for themselves, they can buy it without having to ask.
I'm in the "older kids"/college kids phase, so not looking for someone to raise/take care of a family.
I can't see someone that's a "wage slave" having that ability, let alone take vacations when they want, but hey I may be wrong.
So that's a no then.
I would as long as they want to progress in life and do try, not stay working at McDonald’s or a supermarket until they’re 40.
I dated someone who worked at McDonalds and then a grocery store. Paid all his own bills and even though he didn’t have much, he still had plans for bigger things and that’s what they need to be like
If he’s 19 and paying his own bills, that’s okay. If he’s 40 and working at McDonald’s, maybe there’s a problem.
Excuse me my guy but unfortunately under capitalism everyone who is reliant on work to survive is a wage slave
Damn right.
If you’re relying on someone else to pay your bills, you’re the slave master!
@MikeInHawaii Huh?
If you aren’t relying off your own labor to pay your bills, how else do they get paid?
@MikeInHawaii How would that make one a slave master?
And I‘m not saying you shouldn‘t rely on your own labor to make a living. I‘m saying if your labor is controlled by someone else (e. g. by owning the company you’re employed at) and they pay you a „wage“ that is less than what you produce through your labor, while sticking the rest of the surplus value you created with your labor in their own pockets (under the threat of homelesness or starvation, should you not comply with such exploitative terms), then you‘re a wage slave.

28-34k a year isn't bad at all where I live. I wouldn't even consider them a wage slave, so yes. Especially if he had plans for the future to build a career. Right now we live very comfortably on his salary of about 40k, while owning a house and 2 cars. Our friends bought a 3 bedroom house a couple years ago. They live nicely and make about the same, and they have a baby.
I would, as long as he is motivated to keep learning/growing as a person and has the ambition to find a better job.

How much does a wage slave make a year.
In America? No idea.
I've known wage slaves making 600-1000 EUR a month net.
What's rent of 1 bed room out there
Depends on region.
In the Suburbs it can cost like 400 EUR for one room.
In Munich everything with 1 room starts at 1000 EUR.
Here is the Salary range of McDonald's wage slaves. They range between 28K - 34K to be a wagecuck.
