Are French women much more selective of a man's physical appearance than other countries?

Whenever I have talked to French women, 9 times out of 10 they will reject me for my height, because even if I'm taller than them, it's like they are hardwired to demand a very strict certain height. Unlike other countries including the US, where some women are more likely to settle for a man to just be taller than them.. Is it just a French thing or is it a European thing in general?

It's their loss. There are many good looking blokes out there that meet those criteria. They're also douche bags.
