Poor manners. Even if things aren't going well, I cannot stand someone that just can't put a smile on, finish the date with a good attitude and then say thanks and move on. It really isn't that much to ask.
You wouldn't do that to someone that you met with friends that you didn't really know. You wouldn't be rude or act like you were uninterested even if you didn't like them, right? So, it is simple to just have some basic manners, not act disinterested or rude.
That is the least you can do for the other person that did take time to show up, go out or whatever, and be a part of your night. That should at least warrant being courteous and pleasant, even if you find out it isn't meant to be.
No reason you can't still enjoy a nice night with another person. Love connections don't have to happen for two people to have a nice dinner or enjoy a walk or whatever the date was. Just look at it as a nice evening out and nothing more.

If a guy is too "touchy feely" or talks about sex.
Those would be my two pet peeves when going on a first date with someone. Sex shouldn't even be brought up on a first day.
The first date is an introduction and should be focused on chemistry and compatibility.
What Girls Said
Bad manners and cellphones.
