What do you think is the worst turn off during a first date?

Oh god, the worst? like the one worst? Self aggrandizement! I mean sure, asking me “so you wanna go back to my place?” is just tacky AF on a first date! You asked me on a date, you didn't swipe right on a hookup app FFS! Constantly being on your phone, or at all ffs! Being rude to the server’s, or the opposite, flirting with them, and having a negative attitude, are all a real turn-off! But constant or near constant self aggrandizement, that’s the worst for me!

These guys who brag about their car, or how much money they have, (or in college how much they will earn!), is just such a low-class move! Also, I want to learn how well read you are, and how intelligent you are from the conversation, not form you telling me how intelligent you are, or bragging that you are well read. Jesus thats like someone bragging that they pay their child support… You are supposed to pay your child support, you idiot, that’s not “brag-worthy”, and if you're in college you're supposed to be well read, and well rounded! That’s why we are in college, to get well read and well rounded! Geez 🙄
I cannot stand a man who tells me how amazing he is, or how wealthy he is, or how smart, or talented he is! Just talk to me… trust me, if you just talk to me, I will figure all of that out for myself! I cannot stand an arrogant man!* Likewise I cannot stand a guy who just sucks all of the fun out of the room! There's nothing worse than a proverbial "wet blanket”, or a total “downer”! A sense of humor is paramount in any relationship in my opinion, but so too is knowing when to be serious!

(*note, that I didn't say “narcissistic man”! Narcissism is a clinical diagnosis! If they haven’t been diagnosed with a specific personality disorder, you cannot just say they have one ! That would be like saying your date, or ex, had brain cancer because he had a headache, or was HIV+ because he had a bit of a cough! Using a clinical diagnosis with such a negative connotation to describe an ex, or a date, says way more about your Catastrophizing and Histrionics, than it says about your ex, who may have been a bit selfish, or just didn't do everything that you wanted them to do! )

Bad table manners, poor social skills, mistreating or flirting with service staff.

Personal peeves:

Chronic negativity, black and white thinking, making fun of ANYONE (even if I kind of low-key agree).

Immediate dealbreakers:

Phone use (without excusing themselves or without good reason or explanation).

Not looking like the photo they posted or using a very old photo.

No-shows without communication and a very good reason.

I don't know how to answer cause there are thousands if not millions of things a guy could do to make himself unattractive on a date. I will go with the most likely turn off a person like me might find and the answer is, he wants sex or talks about sex in a degrading way. Now I know you have serial killers and drug dealers out there but the odds I would find one on a blind date are very very low.
