not really, but with my girlfriend at the time (we were just 20 and 19) her parents thought she should just not have any boyfriend at all, lol... which was part of the reason why we didn't get together sooner

while they really did not like the idea of it, rather than not liking me personally... they really did not interfere (besides a couple of rebellious arguments they had about it) with her choices and we ended up together, lol
