Would you go on a blind date or if you have been, What was it like?

Freahman year in college I was friends with a kid that lived in town and was a commuter. His girlfriend wanted me to meet her friend. So one night they picked me up at my dorm and we drove to a bar about 4 or 5 miles away. This girl was going to meet us there. She was okay looking but she was sort of a jerk and we really did not hit it off too well. My friend thought it would be funny if he and his girlfriend left me there with her. So they took off. When we figured this out this girl tells me she is leaving. I ask her if she would give m a ride back to my dorm and she said no. It would have been a 5 mile walk in the freezing cold. When she started to drive away I jumped on the hood of her car. She was trying to shake me off but I had a good grip on the hood. She did a couple of laps around the parking lot but I still held on she she stopped and let me in the car. She drove me back to the dorm but she was pissed.

I have been on several of them, but not just with random people. Friends that knew both of us and thought we'd be a good fit, set us up. First love of my life, was a setup like this.

I can't say I'd do a random with a random that a close friend knew and didn't think it would be a good match.
