My boyfriend removed me on snapchat even though his account gets hacked did he do it or did the hacker do it or is it his way of telling me it's over?

my boyfriend and i have been going out for 7 months now and at the beggining of the relationship he messaged me telling me his snapchat is a bit hacked and that if i do message him i need to be a bit careful of what i say and that today i went onto snap chat because i had some notifcations from friends and i noticed that i had to re add him but then it said in grey that his username couldn't be found so now I am over thinking things please tell me what you think
