Why did my guy friend remove me from his snapchat?

Okay I might sound annoying but listen. I am new to this school and he was one of the people that came up to me and made me feel comfortable. We have been talking for a few months and he is really cool. He swipes up on my story a lot and likes to start conversations. Yesterday he was snapping back like usual and hanging with a bunch of his friends. Today near dinner time I was going onto my snapchat and saw that we lost our 120 day streak. I looked more into that and it said that he removed me. I don't think his friends made him do it because I know most of them and they are really sweet. He is also really sweet and will always sit next to me in class even if it doesn't make a difference to him. I don't know what to thing anymore. If he comes back and doesn't give me a legit reason then I might distance.
