Why would my boyfriend delete me on Snapchat?

We are on supposed to be on a break (his idea) cause he’s going through a lot. He says he’s depressed and he needs to figure things out so we can have a healthy relationship. He moved out 2 weeks ago and hasn’t contacted me at all since he left except once with a text that said “Goodnight I love you.” Last Wednesday. I tried reaching out to him but he just ignores me and doesn’t even open my messages.

I did delete him from Facebook only cause I didn’t want to see him online and get the urge to message him. But I posted a story of me and 2 friends that were guys on my Snapchat story and he watched it then removed me. He still has us on his Facebook profile picture.

I saw on my computer he was signed into where he searched my name on Facebook a few days in a row to look on my page. He still pays my phone bill and car insurance. Nothing makes sense to me. He isn’t opening my messages, ignores my calls, deletes me on Snapchat, but still has me on his profile pic, and is paying my bills. And still left a bunch of stuff at my house.

When I read your title I thought he may be trying to see other girls, but honestly after reading your description... Maybe he was just jealous when he saw you with the other guys and it was hard on him.

He clearly still does care if he is checking your profile a lot (although I don't think it's right of you to look at that) , also if he is paying your bills (if he didn't care about you I highly doubt he would still do that).

Just give him some time to deal with everything, I can imagine that it is hard for you but if you do care about him just give him some more time.

I do care about him but I’m not going to sit around and wait for him forever and I told him that. Him moving out was hard enough and now I haven’t heard from him since he left. He doesn’t even open my messages to read them. He’s been answering his ex’s messages and seeing her (which they have a kid together but she’s why were on a break anyway) so he shouldn’t get mad cause I posted a snap of 2 guys which I didn’t post it they took my phone and posted it. I wasn’t even in the video

That's the thing though until his child at least turns 16/18 he will still always need to talk to her... It doesn't necessarily mean he likes her or wants to talk to her, but that's just the way it is.

Have use been together long? I get that you don't want to wait around forever without knowing what the outcome of the break will be, I guess how long you wait without any contact is ultimately up to you, if you feel it's been long enough or it's too hard on you then it might be best to try to call if he doesn't maybe just send it in a message to let him know.

Also he might not be mad but just jealous to see you with them. You deleted him from facebook which he would question why the same way you are about him deleting you of snapchat.

I told him why I removed him was so I wouldn't see him online and get the urge to message him. That’s the only reason why. There’s no point In sending any message or calling cause he doesn’t answer or read them. He said he was doing this for both me and his child. He said he didn’t want me involved in anything cause there’s no telling what she will do when he takes her back to court. (she’s already made false reports to CPS on me out of spite). Which I put a no trespassing sign up in the yard cause of her stalking. She’s is crazy. I know they despise eachother. She will do anything to get full custody. He said things are about to get a lot worse and he don’t want to drag me down with him. But I still don’t understand why he would tell me he was still going to visit me and keep in touch at least twice a week when I haven’t seen or heard from him since he left. It seems like he abandoned the whole relationship and walked out on me for good.

oh wow he would be really stressed at the moment, some people shut themselves of and can't deal with anything when they have stressful or emotional things going on in there life rather then talk to someone.

By what you just wrote it sounds like he is concerned about her making stuff up about you also rather then just him and doesn't want that to happen.

It might be best to do your own thing if you meet someone else in that time then let him no use can't be together again, if you haven't and want to try again when he gets back in contact with you then go from there... But for now it's probably best to focus on your needs and emotional state rather then trying.

Oh I read it as false reports on him... Just seen "on me" yeah he definatly just doesn't want her to get you charged with anything or bought into the drama.

No false reports were made on both of us. I get what he’s doing but I don’t get why stop all contact with me and not even care to see me. It’s going on 3 weeks now and I haven’t heard anything from him.

It really sucks for you both and his child that she is doing that. I know it's not hard to respond to a message and three weeks is a long time, but when people are depressed they could go months without replying or getting in contact with someone (no matter who they are).

I know that it would be really hard for you to stop thinking about it but I think you need to go out with friends or do things that will take your mind of it. If not and you need closure or answers would you consider going to his house to talk to him?

He’s been talking to everyone else just fine. He’s been adding new people on Social media. He messages and talks to his friends and family. As well as his ex. It’s just me. I’m the only one he’s been avoiding which makes me feel like this was his way of breaking up with me. He told me all this stuff as to why he’s moving out. I asked several times was it because it was his way of leaving me and breaking up with me and he swore up and down no. That all he wants is for us to have a healthy relationship that he’s doing this to save our relationship cause he needs to figure things out and focus. But my dad heard him say “I’m breaking up with her anyway” and then said he was joking that he loves me and he wouldn’t do that the day before he moved out.

Oh wow :-(. In that case I wouldn't waste anymore time on him :-(. He probably felt if he did it this way you would leave him rather then him having to break up with you.

He said he didn’t want to break up with me. He still has me on his profile picture. He’s still paying my phone bill and insurance. He still left a lot of him and his kid’s stuff at my house. He still has important mail coming here.

He is unsure what he wants at this point and is not ready for major life decisions. He feels likely you are trying to make him jealous by posting suggestive photos online and does not want to deal with this right now. I would have done the same.

They took my phone and posted on my snap. I didn’t post of them. It said in the snap “hacked by yours truly l.” So I wasn’t trying to make him jealous.

From his perspective he would have no idea what happened and who hacked who's phone. It still looks like a tactic from his side.

That doesn’t explain the 2 weeks of not contacting me and seeing me even though he only moved 15 minutes up the road. I tried to text him and tell him he got a package in the mail, a letter from a lawyer, and a card from his family but he never opened it to read it.

He didn’t even want to spend his birthday with me. I tried to call him and tell him happy birthday and he didn’t answer but he’s been answering his ex’s calls without a problem

Let it go. You are over analyzing and over obsessing about a guy who is either playing games with you, is not interested or is like I said, not sure what he wants. Move forward. You will never feel better if you are so occupied with what he is doing.

It’s not that it’s I feel like I deserve answers. I sacrificed a lot for him. I wasn’t working just so I could watch his daughter for him cause he was having money problems. I was cooking dinner and washing clothes to help him be able to get more time with his child. He told me all this stuff and then decided to never contact me again. He told me the Friday before he left “If I was trying to leave you forever do you think I’d still be having sex with you.” We did the last day he was there so I’m hurt. I feel used.

Most people who get dumped feel they never got their answers. It is normal. Most people do a lot for their partners and sacrifice lots to only get left in the end. I think you already got your answer. He doesn't care. No matter what you do you will never get a answer by obsessing over him.
