I know this is a silly question. He and I have been best friends for over two years now, and have started a friends with benefits kind of thing. But more so friends I guess. Last night, we had sex and he pulled out his phone to “record it”. I was consenting, I thought I could trust him. He stated he was just curious what it would look like. And I guess I was too. Afterwards, we watched it and made silly jokes about it while laying in bed, when I started to see multiple “snap sent” messages pop up on his phone. As if he’d sent a bunch of snaps that just finally sent. I questioned it and asked him if he may have accident sent it to anyone and he said no. He deleted the video from his camera roll and we went to sleep. I kept having this guy feeling about it and woke up in the middle of the night and checked his phone. I know the passcode to his phone but I’ve never gone through it before. I went to his Snapchat and saw that he’d sent a series of snap videos around that time we were having sex, to another woman. They were unopened still by the other woman. He still had the video in his snaps. I closed the phone, and woke him up and asked him if he was sure he didn’t send or accidentally send or save that video. He said no and opened his phone and said he’d “check” again. He scrolled through some things and then turned it around and said no. Just chats. I noticed that the chat with the video snaps was removed from the list. He’d deleted it. I spoke up and told him I went through his phone and saw that he sent it. And he “admitted” that he’d sent it as an accident and deleted it and the chat. I asked why did he lie and he said because he didn’t want me to freak out if he admitted that he may have accidentally sent it. A part of me doesn’t feel like this is an accident. I have always trusted him, but now I am not sure. Why would he do this? What should I do? Is this illegal?
So you obviously can not trust him. Not only did he send the videos (oh and he 100% did this on purpose) he also lied about and and went as far as deleting the evidence to keep up with his lies. And yeah, what he did is legal in most places and you can sue. You’d need proof though. You could secretly record him and get him to talk about it, like ask him why he did it who was she that he sent it to why would he accudentily send a sex video egc, and when he replies and talks about it he’ll be admitting to doing this, or get him to write about it and write admitting statements in text messages or such. Something lasting, not snaps. You could also contact the woman and ask her to screenshot the videos he sent if they’re still there. This way you’d have the picture proof as well as a recording/texts of him just admitting the whole thing.

I deeply hate this kind of guys. Liar, disrespectful, lame, and retarded.
Why would he send the video, which you did not consent him to share it anywhere, it’s just dumb. Imagine having a special video made by yourself and for yourself only, which is so exclusive and hot, but end up sharing it to other people to see? Silly move. Immature.
