How do you know when you given up on dating? Is it common not talking to anyone after deleting all of your dating apps?

I have mostly guy friends few girlfriend's and they rarely talk to me. I barely talk to any girl's besides from work. I do have hobbies but not like I meet anyone. People do say that focus on your hobbies then women will come after you but does that always work? I do have a job and I do hangout with my friends all of the time but we never hit on women. Am I just isolating myself because I don't talk to anyone?

Having fewer impulses to meet potential mates and not reacting on those impulses however rare are not the same as committing to never dating again. That’s how you know.
It’s not about your hobbies per se. It’s about two things; not focusing on meeting potential mates, and being active and interesting without a mate. Focusing on dating generates an air of desperation, especially for men. Most people will respond negatively to that. The people who respond favorably are not high quality mates. Having family and friends you enjoy being around and activities you enjoy doing with them or on your own makes you a better potential mate. A lot of people make the mistake of giving a lot of that up when they meet someone interesting. Don’t do that. Never give up ‘you’ for ‘us’.
Lastly, meeting new people can be a challenge, but it can also be rewarding. Again, don’t focus on dating. Go out and do more things, especially organized events. Join Meetup, or a book club, or a gaming group. Join a league of some sort; bowling, darts, or recreational sports. Some people join a gym to meet people. Just get out and go for walks, hikes or runs. You’re going to meet people. Then you just have to decide what to do about it when you do. Good luck!

So, if your hobby is video gaming it will be turn-off to many women. Being a weeb is a turn-off to many women. But there are no guarantees. You could take up a hobby like painting and never meet a woman. Especially if you take up a hobby with the purpose of attracting women, because that smacks of desperation.

Unless you are very extraverted, without online dating apps it is indeed difficult to meet women these days. We don’t have real communities anymore, so many avenues that provided chances to meet are not available. Your biggest problem, though, is your lack of confidence and intense level of frustration, which probably comes off as desperation, which is repellent to women.

I'm tired of dating apps because I get ghosted all of the time or women cancel dates on me last minute. The women that want me are women with onlyfans or escorts. I have low levels of slef confidence because when I do ask girls out they ignore me or just ghost me.

I try and focusing on myself but I never find anyone and I'm more lonely than I started. So, how would focusing on myself help me if I feel more shit than I started 🤔.

Maybe just take a break from finding women or worrying about that at all. It’s rough out there, especially for people in their 20s. I would just focus solely on enjoying your own life and continuing to push ahead in different areas like fitness and work, and maybe an organization or two like church or volunteering. Don’t do this stuff to impress women, but to live a full and interesting life. Then worry about women in a few more years. Now, if a good woman falls into your lap between now and then, wonderful! If not, you haven’t lost anything (time is on your side) and you don’t have to deal with the ghosting and only fans girls for awhile.

use the apps, be social, and find activities or hobbies where u can meet new people.

you’ll meet someone when u least expect it. For example, I joined a running club and met my future wife there when I wasn’t expecting it

It's often not a conscious decision from what I can see- you just do other things and don't focus on it. There's nothing wrong with taking a break from it.
