Guys, would you dump a woman because your mom tells you to?

I’ve been dating a younger guy, like much younger - he’s 26. But his mom, who’s the same age as me, hated it and told him to dump me. He told me yesterday he can’t see me any more. Is this normal?

Nope. I would talk to my mother. She obvs wants the best for me. I would like to hear her concerns and have a conversation like mature adults. Knowing my mum im pretty sure her concerns will be legit. I'll think about what she said. I would want her to have a good relationship with my partner. I would get her to spend more time with my partner. Hopefully her concerns will be addressed and she'll be happy for me. That is how i would deal with it.

Now i know there could be a possibility that my mum might be able to see some red flags which might not work out for me, thats something which i might not be able to see. So over time if i also am able to see those red flags then only I'd end it. Not simply because mum said so but because i was able to see those red flags with my own eyes.

I wouldn't let my parents tell me who to date but I feel like maybe they were on his ass with it that they probably brought it up every second until he got tired of it, simply cause I know the mother didn't feel comfortable with her son dating someone the same age as her so I know they were persistent

I get hit on by little boys and even if I wasn't married, no way in hell would I date a boy that age and I'm almost 37! I might fuck him just for a one nighter, but date him? R u in ur right mind lady or r u in denial of ur age? 26 yr old boys are still that.. boys. After 30 they start to mature.
