I come from east Europe where being naturally blond is very rare. I, myself am very dark (dark eyes, dark hair, darker skin...) and the most "blond" I've ever dated were brunette men. Then few weeks ago I started seeing this Norwegian guy who is totally blond (blond hair, blue eyes, light skin...) to the point he's eyebrows are almost invisible. He is by all standards good looking and handsome. But soon after I realized I was kind of turned off by his looks. I don't know why it started bothering me. It just started feeling like we are different species. I started craving for darker men... I broke up with him, I know it was the right thing to do. But I never thought this would be an issue, I feel guilty and weird. Ever happened to you?

No, not at all. Everyone has preferences and most people are attracted to people like themselves. It's just human nature. Nothing wrong with it.
