Why did ex tell me to leave him alone but let me refollow him?

My ex and I broke up almost 2 weeks ago and I gave him a letter basically asking to give us another chance. He texted back he understood what I was saying but he made up his mind and wants to be left alone. I said sorry and he said it's ok. I unfollowed him on insta and snapchat but about a week later refollowed him. He let me do this and even watches my stories. I don't understand why he would let me follow him if he wants to be left alone.

Who cares? You should know your self worth and leave him alone. You chasing him around is only implying that he has the advantage of power over you and can say whatever he wants to you and you will still come back. Let him live his life without you and see if he comes back. And if he doesn’t, move on. I had an ex a few years ago break up with me and I didn’t want to leave him but that’s what he wanted. I ran into him at a club this year and he’s been asking to hang out and everything , and look at me not that interested in hanging out with him anymore. Stop letting your ex have power over you.

I would not be surprised that if some of those more interesting people and places show up on his page so that you can keep up with it. Think about it... He is your EX not your current.
