You don't have to go, but I would CORDIALLY tell him why. If he chooses to take it poorly, that's on him but I have taken feedback before and I can't even remember having a date not go well.

He told me he’d get me flowers the next time he saw me and instead he came over and just wanted to go to my pool and brought drinks (that only he likes) and the second date we just hung out at the beach and he brought me a can of wine. These aren’t like dates I enjoy and it’s always what he wants to do. We got dinner last weekend and he called that a “big production”
