Girls, what advice do you have for a 22 y. o. male who has some serious grey hair, and has lost some hair at the crown as well?

Hi there! Fellow Indian here. So, best advice is to just embrace that is who you are. We all have characteristics about us that we don’t like.

Some things you can do. There are products to get rid of grey hairs. It is a temporary solution and honestly I do not trust certain products. They can damage your hair in exchange for covering grey hairs.

Think about a different hairstyle that hide that spot naturally and without chemicals. Any reputable salon will be able to make suggestions for a style change. They see this all the time.

What is most important is to overcome your insecurities about it and understand that as we age, things change. That is the nature of life. There are things I would love to change about certain appearance related things. #1 on that list is my height.

Im very short and wish I were taller. That is the way I was made though and have to embrace that as who I am. So the important thing is to accept yourself and the perception YOU have and not others. Hope this helps!

I am 5'11" and quite fair with some pimple scars on my cheeks! I am decently fit. It is just the hair that makes me feel highly insecure sometimes. I simply wonder, do Girls even like to know about boys beyond their looks? No disrespect though!

Of course we go beyond looks! The number one thing I look for when deciding if I’m going to date someone is personality. You can be the best looking guy in the world. If your personality sucks, I won’t give you a second thought.

Personality consists of many things and girls all have their preferences of what we look for in a guy’s personality. I want it to mesh with mine and the type of person I am.

Not everyone will and that’s okay. It is no different than guys having preferences either. I like a guy that can hold a conversation, listen, caring, good manners, sense of humour, etc.

Those things are important to me personally. They are just a few of the traits I look for. @SueShe Who alerted me to your question I think will agree.

There are a lot more important things that define a person than just looks. Speaking of defining…. don’t let these things you feel insecure about define WHO YOU ARE. Those things don’t define you as a man. Remember that…

If you are a gentleman, you will be just fine! That was the first thing I noticed about my fiancé. He was almost like the old fashioned gentleman you don’t hear much about anymore.

Those guys that open doors, pull out chairs and stand upon me getting up to use the lady’s room at a restaurant. It is a lost art. Do well in that area and you’ll kill it with the girls. We love that stuff.

Nutrition and diet can improve hair appearance. My grandma was over 80 with light coloured hair on our Asian bodies and changed the food she ate at the old folks home and her hair became grey again from nutritional changes at the seniors home. I had white hair at age 15 from stress and at 20, my stress reduced and my white hair turned black again. After 4-6 years, I no longer needed to colour my hair because my white hair was almost totally gone. Good nutrition and relaxation techniques through journaling and meditation and stress lowering techniques such as social interaction or church volunteerism etc…
