Girls in your 20’s, how big of a turn off is it for a guy your age to be bald (and shave what’s left)? is it a big deal? Can he still be attractive?

26, lost my hair to a condition. No feel good answers, looks matter and I wouldn’t be with a girl I wasn’t attracted to physically right out of the gate.

Worried this is a big turn off to most women in the 20’s. Other guys act like it’s a death sentence dating young women. It really bugs me since there’s nothing I can do about it.

Dude... I'm telling you girls do not care. I have two close friends I have known since my teens and they were going bald in their 20s and both shaved their heads way back then.

They couldn't fight the girls off and guess what... they STILL have shaved heads and they STILL have girls wanting to get with them all the time and they are the same age as me! One of them is older!

They are good looking guys and girls notice. Of course it isn't something EVERY girl likes, but every girl has different tastes. It's NOT a big deal for a guy. Some women LOVE it. I even dated a woman once who begged me to shave my head!

When i was younger, women seemed to like it. I was shaving my head before it was kool to shave your head though. So it was novel. I didn’t much like that they felt entitled to touch me without permission. They did though. Lots of women rubbing my head. The big one. Ell oh ell!

I think everyone gets myopic about their own perceived faults. The truth is that dating is a minefield right now. Men are afraid that saying some innocuous comment will cost them their job, their college, their future, and women are afraid that every flirtatious advance will lead to the sentence, "I bought you dinner, now you have to put out!"

If you're not getting dates, you want to blame something. Largely it's the culture that's to blame, not you being follicly challenged, or me being less chesty.

Doesn't matter to me. I remember a guy at my culinary school being super insecure that he was balding he would wear a beanie all the time. I think we asked how he was wearing the beanie because we had just done service and it was so hot. He stopped wearing it as much when we all looked at him like he was crazy for being insecure about it. We all agreed he looks great without hair, suited him.

Grow out your facial hair more to offset it. Dont need a full beard but would at least try to go 5-6 mm minimum.

I look like I just graduated highschool. That's why I answered. So no I don't like bald guys. I like to take care of myself hence why I look so young. And a bald guy obviously didn't take care of himself.
