I had been in a secret relationship with my step cousin for 2 years. He was my first everything. We agreed never to speak of it to anyone unless we were ready to explore a life together. We had a bad break-up and I had since blocked and ghosted him. It's been 16 months to date, he had been trying to gain contact with me through my family members but to no avail. I feel like what we broke up over was unforgivable. He then recently confided in my cousin all of our sexual escapades ( how he took my virginity, how great I was in bed, how he wants to be with me etc). She broke his trust and relayed all of the information to me. He has since been confused and worried and wants to speak with me. Why did he tell her everything? Should I be upset even though I had "disappeared" from his life for over a year?

I think honestly he maybe is immature and wants to put himself on a pedestal… since it’s something you can’t tell around, he kept the secret according to the pact but probably he was dying of desire to tell that to anyone. So he did with your cousin in order to “keep it all in family”.
I think he did that also to attract your attention, since he tried to contact you and you refused his contact, this way he has made you pissed and willing of talking to him in order to clarify.
I think sincerely if you don’t want to make his game, you don’t have to talk with him.
