So you've fallen for a long-time friend and now you are absolutely terrified of losing the friendship?

What I am about to say is based on personal experience - there are very few friendships in the world that can survive the transition to friendship. Let's say he replies "I like you too" congrats but now the rules and expectations of your friendship have changed. Do you know what he wants or expects out of a relationship? For that matter do YOU even know what you want our of a relationship (other than him)?

Mind you, if he says yes and you two don't make it - it's highly unlikely you'll be friends again especially if you throw sex in the mix.

I can't fathom being cuddle buddy and shoulder to cry on with someone I've seen naked. But that's just me.

Now if he says sorry I don't like you like that, hopefully he's the type of man willing to be friends afterwards.
