I occasionally have dirty finger nails I can't get clean from working with dye without gloves. Even with scrubbing the dye just won't come off completely at times.

I'd only look down on them if their dirty finger nails were due to a lack of hygiene and cleaning. If they were dirty from dye or paint or they worked with soil every day I'd not mind, as long as they still cleaned them as well as possible after they're done with whatever gets their nails dirty, as well as before preparing food and the like.

Cut your nails short but not too short. Underneath the nails are the dirtiest coz DNA and other shit get in there. 🤣. I will still date you but cut your nails or keep them clean , nasty 🤮 🤣. That’s why I cannot stand long nails. Gives me the eek 😬

Your fingernails are naturally gonna get dirty through the day but for them to be dirty all the time? no, that would be a sign they actually avoid cleaning since if you take a shower or even just simply wash your hands they clean.
Plus you can easily use a card to remove dirt if your out and about.

I make that dependent on where the dirt is from:

If it's a hard working farming girl or a mechanic, she's welcome and I'll support her efforts by giving her regular showers.

If the dirt comes from picking her nose all day - she's ''out''.

Always, no. But what if there's mitigating circumstances. They work as a farmer, mechanic or gardener. Obviously if they work a sewage treatment plant then do dirt under the nails would have to be a hard rule.

No, that shows that you don't know how to have good hygiene like it's okay to not take a shower for like 2 days a week but having dirty fingernails it's like eating out of dirty bowl. You can catch all types of diseases and even parasites if you have dirty fingernails and do not wash them or trim them men do you need to practice good hygiene just like women do.

Some jobs lead people to temporarily have dirty fingernails: auto mechanic, landscaper, roofer, farmer.

However, a good fingernail brush and some GOJO usually solve this problem. I don't think there's any excuse for constantly having dirty fingernails. Sounds like the person doesn't have good hygiene practices.

No, I wouldn't. I'd understand if a person worked with their hands (maybe he's a painter or his hobby is gardening) but if they constantly had dirty hands and never cleaned themselves, that indicates a lack of personal hygiene.

It doesn't take any longer than 2 minutes to do these little hygiene things like clipping and cleaning your nails

Hell Naw, I can't stand that and Im the annoying type of person that observes where my partner places their hands and if theyre cleanly to determine how aggressive Ill be about making them wash up or wash their hands before even touching me. People can be nasty as hell. That goes for all genders.

Hygiene is super important to me. It's one thing if they have a dirty job or career and they come home dirty but please wash up. I would do the same. I don't want to share a bed or be intimate with someone who has bad hygiene. I'm almost a germaphobe so I can take this to extremes at times.

Dirty hands and a sign of clean money. If they do a job that makes their hands dirty (mechanic etc) I know that no matter how much they scrub they won't come clean as long as they have good personal hygiene it wouldn't bother me

There's a difference between dirty, and long and gross. That picture is long and gross. Someone that works with their hands may have dirty fingernails. And while I don't find it attractive I could deal with dirty nails much more easily than long and nails.

Diesel mechanics are the most difficult to clean… but all mechanics and those who work in the dirt and mud will have the signature look.

The best way I’ve found is to stab your fingers in clean beach sand or dig in it.

Definitely keep the nails short and use a stiff bristled nail brush.

But rough hands and imperfect nails are the sure fire sign of a working class man and garner respect from a fellow brother.
