Chubby people, how do you feel about people expressing attraction to your weight?

My friend's s/o always teases her about her chubbiness, saying its one of the best parts of her. Is this weird? How do you all feel about people doing stuff like this?

I am indifferent to it. Just because I am overweight doesn't mean I intend to be or "like it" or anything.

But I did know this 350-400 pound Mexican chick back home in Philly who was always bragging about her fatness. And it's like, I'm into big girls, but she was legit 5'6" and probably 400 pounds, so a large fraction more than what even I weigh. "Morbidly obese." SSBBW. She was what is called a "Feedie." Women who get aroused by gaining as much weight as possible. But then she had a myocardial infarction at age 25 and decided to get the gastric bypass. I never had an issue with her weight, but I did have an issue with her arrogance to her weight. She walked around like she thought she was legit hotter than VS models. THAT can be a problem.

She looked like this (Mary Boberry), but even bigger in weight and shorter in stature.

it is a risk because not everyone is secure in their societal perceived shortcomings. When someone close teases them in those areas it could really go bad...

I'm somewhat chubby and would prefer a partner who is mostly neutral about my weight as in someone who will provide help and support if I'm trying to lose weight but won't pressure me to lose if I'm not.

It’s a fetish, and could be problematic in the long run. That is if one wants to, for personal or heath reasons, get thin!

Good question. I was very much overweight. I started doing exercise with a healthier diet and got fit. I don't remember getting any attention back then.

There should be no debate on this. If you are fat or chubby you should go to the gym. And nobody should be attracted to you in the first place
