Casual relationship but he treats me like he has feelings, why? Should I cut it off?

Someone I dated back in college years ago re connected with me when he found out I was single. He might be moving to Australia so we agreed that the intention was casual. He has put in huge effort took me on a weekend getaway, super romantic, reminisces about our past relationship, says he likes me, he’s gonna miss me (we do 3 hour long distance) we had amazing sex all weekend. he immediately is planning our next getaway. I feel like he has real feelings for me but then what is the point?
I’m worried I’m going to get hurt and debating if I cut this off or leave the option there in case he doesn’t move.

How frustrating as it is so hard to find one who actually takes time to do things together and build relationship... to bond with these days. And, the sex was good... Do you wish that you never found him? I think I would because it feels like there's no point but to be tortured by how good it could have been. What/How are you doing?

You pretty much hit the nail on the head that’s exactly how it feels. We seem to be great together but he's made it clear he’s moving so I don’t know if I should keep seeing him

It's shit with the distance though... It almost seems better to suffer in loneliness than to see Facetime/Zoom and hurt. Have all these rigid expectations in distance when it flowed so naturally in person... Destined to be nothing but disappointment... and a Memory change... I don't know-
