How can I tell whether the guy I'm dating is extrovert or introvert? He said he's extrovert but seems shy, awkward and doesn't talk much around me?

Introvert/extrovert has nothibg to do with being shy vs outgoing. You can be shy and an extrovert or outgoing, social and an introvert. Being an extrovert means you gain enrgy from being around ofher people while being an introvert means you lose energy and get tired from being around people and need more alone time to recharge.

Pretty much my thoughts. Easing his way into the relationship and letting her get to know him better before he goes all out. Letting her get used to him. I liken it to starting a new job. Most people don't go all in with their personality, but gauge others first. Get to know people and vice versa until you know what the boundaries are, what their SOH is, how far is too far.
