If a girl asks if you are single, is she interested?

Anything in the form of a question which asks if you are single, like “do you have a girlfriend?”.

a girl asked me that, but i dont even know her that well. She’s just a familiar face that’s all.

Her reply? Nothing really, we just talked normally.

And no i didn't ask her if she has a boyfriend. I know i should have but i have a crush on her and was really nervous talking to her.

She knows that i get nervous because before she asked me if i have a girlfriend, she asked my why i get nervous. I said “i dont know” and she said “you dont know?”, and then she asked me if i have a girlfriend.

Just be very honest in telling her that you get nervous being around her... Tell her that you really like her... Girls like honesty.

I’m just not sure if she likes me back, i would talk way more to her otherwise.

One thing i forgot to mention is that she once told me “don’t blush so much, you should talk more, it’s always me that talks to you” but she said that in front of a friend so I don't know if she was just being friendly.
