So this girl and I have been texting for 2 weeks. Then we went out on a date and after the date she barley texts me. She said she’s just dealing with a lot right now. Is she uninterested?

Your guess will be as good of any of ours. I look at it two ways. Take your pick as to which you think. On one hand, she said she is dealing with a lot. Do you know what she is dealing with or is that all she said? Some context there might help. Anyhow, if she truly is dealing with something, then that is a valid reason she isn’t texting as much.

The other is maybe you went on the date together and she just decided it wasn’t a love connection and she is uninterested and doesn’t know how to tell you. I would hate this to be the case.

You would hope she would just be honest and come out and tell you that it isn’t going to work. That would be the adult thing to do. She may be stringing you along though in hopes you will be the one to say it or just lose interest.

I would give it some time and give her some space and see what happens. She really could be going though something. I would watch and see if you notice changes in mood at work. That is a likely indicator she is dealing with a lot.
