I'm a 27 year old woman and still a virgin. There is nothing wrong with me mentally, physically, or sexually. I'm not really waiting for marriage unless me and my future partner both agree to do so. But it's mostly because I just haven't found the right guy. They usually leave because I'm a virgin and they and many more men perfer someone who is more experienced. This just sounds like they only care about sex and how great it should be. I'm a very good person. Is being a virgin at my age a deal breaker?

Virginity wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. But I wouldn't be interested in a relationship with someone who was saving herself for marriage. I think that attitude is retarded because there is no guarantee that even a marriage contract will insure a successful relationship.
A relationship is like an experiment. You start out with a goal and pursue it until you succeed. You can't create a successful invention without failing along the way and learning from your mistakes. You can't get good at something without working at it. You can't make an omelette without breaking some eggs.I don't know how a person can find the right partner unless they are willing to engage in committed a relationship with someone whom they think might be Mr. or Ms. right. You never know unless you try. If the relationship doesn't work out, you keep looking. You can't be ruled by fear of disappointment or heart ache. Everyone has their heart broken sooner or later. It's part of life.
If a relationship doesn't work out, at least you had lots of fun and gained knowledge and experience.
You don't postpone life experience until the stars align perfectly. You are supposed to revel in all the experiences that life has to offer. Go backpacking, snorkeling, engage in sports, take chances, fall in love, and experience sexual ecstasy. You have five senses, intellect, emotions and imagination for a reason.
I don't consider sex to be some sacred act, and it's certainly not dirty. It's more like the most amazingly fun physical activity ever, or at least has the potential to be. Two people admiring and stimulating each other's naked bodies is as intimate as it gets. That's why it promises the most unique rewards. It's far more satisfying with a committed partner who wants you as urgently as you wanted them. I've had peak experiences with girlfriends that I didn't wind up marrying. I wouldn't trade those experiences for the world.
For me, marriage is a solemn, once in a lifetime commitment. I wouldn't do that unless I knew someone intimately for a long time and was absolutely positive that I could trust them and could see myself living with them for the rest of my life. I would have to love their personality, habits and behaviors. And we would have to be sexually compatible.
So sex isn't all I care about. Not by a long shot. But it IS very important. Without sex, a relationship is just friendship.
If I liked a girl a lot and she was also infatuated with me, virginity would not be an issue as long as she was eager to engage in sex once we trusted each other and were committed to an exclusive relationship.
The thing about relationships is, there has to be physical attraction. And two people have to be eager to give themselves completely to each other. They have to be all in. Plus, sex generates deep emotion and can lead to greater trust and commitment, so it's almost essential to a relationship.
My first girlfriend was 14 when I was 16. I had subsequent girlfriends. We were deeply infatuated, but none of us were mature enough for marriage and children, although we had the best times together. I don't regret a thing and neither do they. We all went on to have full, happy lives. We have great memories.
I didn't meet my future wife until I was 40. She is 2.5 years younger. Both of us had full lives. We've been happily married now for over 25 years.
At the end of life, whoever said, "I'm glad that I didn't have amazing sexual experiences." Instead, those who had full lives will recall the peak moments and rejoice.00 Reply

I think that it's just soo rare to find a girl that is a virgin that it confuses the man,
Like if a girl I started dating tells me she is a virgin, in my subconscious I think she probably just says that because she doesn't find me attractive and not really interested in me.
Obviously this is not your case but due to weman virgin being as rare as unicorns it can trigger a lot of ideas in the guy00 Reply

No, but the whole "waiting for the right one" thing is a myth to be honest. I think you'd be better off trying different relationships to figure out better what you want and what you don't want until you find the right guy that makes you want to stay with him. Otherwise, I personally don't care about virginity.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yI don't think it's a deal breaker for a lot of guys, I think that a lot of people nowadays are very sex positive and they want to have sex so with someone who wants to wait until the relationship develops they don't consider it worth the effort. Personally, I am 29 now and also a virgin, also not religious just wanting to wait for the right person. And I have had women who didn't want today is I had to wait for sex as well so I can't say it's a gender thing

+1 yNot a deal breaker and sex is NOT the only thing guys think about (but it IS among one of the top few). Choice is ultimately yours, of course, but afaic, at least some experience was always preferred. I avoided virgins bc I didn't want to commit and thus be known as "the guy who stole..."
If you think you're missing something, then consider finally going for it.
00 Reply If they care about something like that they're superficial. But it can be a deal breaker for some dudes. It's a different issue altogether if you don't wanna have sex period since that's needed for some relationships to last

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yYea this could be a deal breaker because to me it tells me you’re 1/3 of the way through your life yet you haven’t met the right person because you’re really picky. Hard to take care of, high maintenance, something along those lines.
00 ReplyMost Men can't wait especially if they find you every attractive but at the same time that is not a bad thing because it's better to wait for marriage.
00 Reply16.6K opinions shared on Dating topic. Being a virgin is perfectly fine, but it will be a dealbreaker for most guys if you won’t have sex with them.
00 ReplyNot so much care as instinct. You can hide being wet. We cannot hide being hard. Were still mammals and our numbers go up and down. We forget that. Males have to release seeds.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 y27 can’t find a guy because men don’t like virgins. No issues mentally or anything else. Not religious. Not waiting for marriage. Sounds like bullshit. Guys love virgins. It’s either you are too picky or you are lying about something else.
10 ReplyI prefer a virgin over a ho, those guys was likely looking for a casual relationship.
