So I’ve been speaking to this guy and we got pretty close and stuff, however he’s been ghosting me for one week! So I posted something and he finally replied to my story complimenting me. After that I posted another story captioning it as “anyone else cancel last min dates?” He saw that story and immediately deleted his message he sent me. So I asked why he deleted it and he answered “cos your dating now so dw.” And I replied “ain’t we just mates?” And he ignored That, then I asked if he’s annoyed and he replied “nah.” So then I said “it seems like u are.” And he ignored me again and then I said “then Why do u keep ignoring me.” So he put “wdym I didn’t say anything.” And then he voice noted “I simply deleted my message cause I see you’re dating now so enjoy that.” And I put “dating? I’ve cancelled it. And it’s not a big deal.” He put “ok, if it’s not a big deal enjoy?” And he just ignored my last message which was “stop 😂🙄 uno id rather see u but still watches my story and added me today to his private story.

Guys it’s been 5 days now. I gave him space should I message him and check if he’s okay now? And try and talk about it or ask to meet?

To be completely honest I think posting that story about dating was a recipe for drama. Also staying off social media when it comes to relationships is *very* healthy. You still don't know this guy very well, he could be very sensitive or insecure. I think going the old fashioned away of meeting someone and dating them is much better. Real talk - playing games doesn't work on grown ass adults who want genuine relationships. Stay away from games if that's what you want.

Now to answer your question, it's unclear whether he's jealous per say. He may be frustrated or annoyed. He may be playing games back. Or he may be jealous. We don't know what his intentions are because the situation became unclear when playing games entered the equation.

If u message him and he replies w/something sarcastic like "Oh now u care how I am doing?" or "How many guys did u hang out with since we talked?" .. he's very insecure and just wants a g/f to put all her attention and time on him. Okay, talking got close then ghosted you for a week, added you to his private…. Sounds like he’s playing games, when it comes to dating us men are very egotistical, the idea of you dating is obviously bothering him, now he’s probably going to try and make you jealous as well… best advice, for every message he sends take an hour or even 2 to reply. Why? Because one it gives you time to think logically about how to respond and 2 it’ll put him in check, if he ignores you don’t respond until he messages you.

I know him in person, we get on very well together and we can talk about anything. He also tells me about his family issues and even tries to get me jealous sometimes by looking at girls pictures right in front of me which I don’t get.

You're both playing games... But you only control your own actions, so fix yourself. Just be straight with the guy, and if he can't be straight with you, jog on.
