What is it like? What is the process like?

My roommate was a mail order bride - didn’t think it was real at first but there she was. I never really asked her about the process but she told me that her and her fiance met online, he arranged a K-1 visa for her to be able to come to the states then they had a couple of months to get married. Seems pretty straight forward.
