Is he lying to me?

I met this foreign guy he went back to his country. We always text but suddenly he’s saying that he’s going off for 5 days and he won’t contact me until then. I have a bad feeling about this. I’m naive sometimes but am I right to think that maybe he’s off to visit a long time girlfriend he lied about? How should I confront him about this
