I'm Indian and I would never date a man who expects me to not have a career for myself. I consider it a ginormous red flag that he would not want me to be financially independent. If I ever date someone, I would be loyal, kind and caring, and I do strongly believe that women of other races do the same.

What may be a red flag for you, may not be so for others and vice versa. There is a difference between being a workaholic and having a career go support oneself. You’re confusing being career oriented with having a career. If someone is a workaholic, they probably won’t be interested in having a family or even date for that matter.

All women in my family have worked for generations. My great grandmother was a teacher in the early 1900’s and I certainly would not trust anyone with my money, and my husband should do the same.

I find it rather laughable that you equate having a job with unfaithfulness. You have a job too, don’t you? Does that mean you are unfaithful?

I would definitely have my own career, but at the same time, I won’t be a workaholic either. Finding work life balance is important and I’m not stupid enough to waste my partner’s time.

It makes sense. With women achieving more divorces has gone up as well as infidelity over the years. Women are supposed to be in the kitchen and at home supporting the family the way or helping the husband with his business or whatever.
The only thing women have to do is make sure they date a good man who isn’t abusive or controlling. Dw I’ll find what I’m looking for

Most Indian families are extremely traditional and endogamous, even if they live in the West. Not many parents would approve of their daughter dating a non-Indian. However, modern families with progressive views exist as well, so there is a chance you might, but also keep in mind that many tend to have a career like engineers or doctors and I highly doubt they would give up their career to date you.
