Would you ever date someone online from another country?

There’s two challenges which are online and the second one is long distance.

No. Long distance relationships are harder to maintain and sometimes they fizzle out cause you rarely see them in person. Unless you make plans for one or the other to move to your location eventually, it just not going to work out. You have to make some big compromizes cause one or the other isn't going to be okay with moving to whole other country, leaving family behind, or their jobs behind either. Meeting someone in your area is much easier if you ask me.

Yes. Probably would have. I tend to be repulsed by the locals. Some cultures are more family and community oriented. Less aggressively selfish. There are good men around, but finding someone online at a great distance would have it’s appeal if lonely.

I used to message with a lot of foreign women online just because it was fun. I learned not to do that unless I was truly serious about bringing her overseas and having a relationship. for some of them life is truly difficult where they are and they don't need an online romance or a sexting partner, they want to marry and get into a better situation.

It would be fun to date women from not so modern country, where the women are still very traditional.  Just don't bring them back to any place in the Western World. The modem women will corrupt them.

A long distance relationships does have it's challenges. You both need to be on the same page with effort, communication and trust.

Ultimately, what would the end goal be? If you have no plans to end up together whether it's a lot closer or live together, what would you be dating for? To be pen pals?

Of course, visiting each other is important and necessary to help the relationship. A successful LDR can make a couple extremely strong, and have a solid foundation though.

No. I’m a physical touch type of person and I couldn’t handle being far away from my partner. I dated someone from another country once when I was a teenager and not gonna lie, I cheated on him 💀

Talking to somebody online is not dating and not a relationship. You actually have to see them in person to date them or have a relationship.
