I just started speed dating again I have a question on basic ettiquette?

The only place in my house that really offers privacy at my desk in my room but there is a view of my bed background. Is it true that if you meet virtually with a view of your bedroom in the background that it sends a message your looking for casual sex. I’m autistic and I get nervous when dating and I have gotten myself into bad situations in the past but I learned from them thank god. I don’t want to offend anyone or make anyone uncomfortable. I like the speed dating because there is no pressure for a commitment right away I can go on a date with someone once and it doesn’t mean I love you. I had a really bad experience with another woman before I came out of the closet she was abusive and almost parked her uhaul in my garage. I learned from that experience self control and self preservation.

Use a Zoom background to place yourself anywhere other than your bedroom. Just make sure you aren't implying a lifestyle you don't already live. In other words, if you're simple, don't use a fancy background. Nature backgrounds tend to be neutral and functional in most settings. Bookshelves are nice, but not if you're not a reader. Just make sure your background represents you as you are.

I have never heard of that being an issue, then again I’ve only ever used zoom for school. Personally, I don’t think anything about a person’s bedroom in the background unless it’s noticeably messy. Plus, it may also be a good thing because it could show off your personality, styles, interests, etc.
