Dating App, Worth it?

Are there any dating apps worth the time? Or are they all filled with bots? Love to hear everyone's thoughts

Okay for me I have have been on dating apps off and on for 2 years. I have managed to get 16 different dates with 12 different women. I have had one 4 month relationship, and one 8 month relationship, and I have had sex with three of the 12 women, and two of them a lot of sex, I am currently back on the apps and I have date for this weekend.

Here's the thing though, I have had to try to connect with well over a 100 different women. Over 90% of them either blew me off, never read or response to my messages, or other wise straight up rejected me. They say only 1 in 10 attempts by a man to connect with a women will result in a chat. Only 1 in 10 of those chats will result in a 1st date, and only 5 in 10 of the those first dates will result in second date. So your profile has to be perfect, and you have put in a lot of time to get good at online dating.

So if you did the numbers on that, 1 in 10 attempts will result in a chat, 1 in 10 chats will result in a 1st date... so you may have to attempt to connect with 100 women to get 10 chats started, and only 1 in 10 of those chats will get you a first date.

So even though I am met with rejection 98% of the time, because I only achieved two relationships on line, I am consider as being very successful at on line dating because I have had 12 first dates with 12 different women in a combined total of 7 months actively searching on line. Let me tell you it does not feel that way when your seriously less than 10% successful. So if you can not handle rejection without it messing up you mind completely then no dating apps are not for you.

Men out number women 9 to 1 on dating apps. So honestly only the top 1% of men find any success at all online. Unless your super rich and can pay people to manage you online profile for you... which is a thing. There people out there that are super wealthy that pay people to manage their online profiles, and connect and even do all the chatting for them. They fly in and hook up with women and she never know she was never really telling to him the whole time.

I do not use them. I say that they never update the sites and then profiles are not accurate. I tried it for 6 months long time ago. Waste of time as no one ever looked like they look online. I met one loud of 15 that was normal god someone as conservative as I am…. And, I tried the “church/relational”, regular America dating app, and Hoe/friends with benefits app. Colossal waste of time. Much better results at www.meetup.com and indoor soccer and social events. Good luck 🍀

I have never done online dating for a few reasons. One is the reason you mention. The potential for fake bots and stuff. Another is safety. As a girl, I just don't feel safe meeting someone from an online site. It is too easy to fool people.

I know there are ways to make it safe for myself, but it seems like way too much work and still never 100% safe. So, I'd prefer to meet people the old fashioned way. Patience and right place, right time.

That is how I met my now fiancé. Just happened one day and that was that. I hadn't dated or looked to date for two years before I met you out of the blue.

If you want to increase your odds at finding someone that you might click with, I suggest finding a local club or activity group that interests you. You will meet people with similar interests. Much easier to strike up conversations and break the ice when you already share something in common.

The clubs/activities, let alone ones a person would actually be interested in, are not always accessible to everyone depending on the area they live in.

For women the Bumble app is quite good as the profile requirements and questions allow some up front filtering

if you're a man: no. a massive waste of time. dating apps are a giant sausage fest with like 80% desparate men.
