It really depends on the woman, her effort, and her expectations. Yes apps can work for anyone with effort and the right expectations. Where most women fail is they have unrealistic expectations and they expect dating to work like offline dating and it doesn't work that way. First off you can't hide why your there (though many women try with comments in thier bio that say "just seeing what's out there". That's always a red flag for a guy to avoid that woman). Even still I'm not going to sugarcoat it. It will be an uphill battle. But you can be successful. The real question is are you willing to put forth that effort. Because if online dating is like order a burger through a fast food drive through? Then you probably should just save yourself the time.

There is definitely a lot of bad to weed through on there. BUT it's by far the easiest way to meet people.

You just need to make sure to be careful when meeting up. But you can meet some cool people.

I met my boyfriend on bumble after years of being on the apps. But I did also meet plenty of decent guys on there as well. Just not matches for me.

I'd definitely give them a shot if you're actively interested in meeting people.
