My boyfriend and I have been dating for 6 years soon will be 7 this upcoming new year 2023. When will he marry me he says he wants to and he wants my babies but when is he going to purpose when do people usually puroses

Your first problem is you think there's actually hard rules to any of this shit. What book tells you when he must propose by? Thos is life you're talking about, not a goddamn cake recipe!

Your second problem is getting on here and asking us. How TF would we know what he's thinking? We can't, of course. What's much more likely is you're on here fishing for replies that agree with you to use as fuel against him. Have you ever asked him what HE wants and needs in order to know it's the right time? Maybe it's a house, a specific amount saved up in the bank, finishing college, better credit scores, whatever? I have no idea and neither do you. The difference is you're there and I'm not so I have an excuse.

Have you also considered it's not impossible that he's lying? Not saying he is, but his actions don't match his words...

Something is keeping him from pulling the trigger, and for you to still have no clue what that is after 6 years says a lot about both of you.

Some people, especially in today’s world, think they can have those things without a 💍. Have you two had that conversation ⁉️ Some guys use that to continue the relationship and not interrupt “good sex”. I would want to know about the “degree of commitment” thing. I’m traditional so signing the dotted marriage license line has always been an assumption. I have discovered a small few women that also do not prefer traditional. Do you care either way?

You have to tell your boyfriend exactly what you are sharing here. That you want to get married and have kids.
Or you can continue the life as it is and also have kids.
It depends what’s your life plans , financially too!
Does he include you in his future? And wants to have a family with you? If not I would leave. Usually some guys keep a women for many years until they find someone they truly love. It happens. I have seen it.

Why do people say things like this. I know people who were together for 10 years before the partner married and they are still happily married with kids today. I also knew someone who was with her partner for 16 years before her partner proposed to her and they remained happily married with kids for over 30 years until the wife passed away. Just because someone takes time to propose does not mean they are playing someone or using them.

@Tranquility_Lady you're welcome. I'm so tired of people saying shit like this just because someone doesn't propose to them within 2 years or when they think the guy should. Some people have genuine reasons for why they wait a long time to propose. One of the couples I know waited until they brought a house first and they lived together for a while because while they had been together for 10 years and had kids together they also didn't live together until they brought their home so they done things backwards but it worked for them and they are still happily married today in total they have been together for over 20 years. While the other couple genuinely didn't have the money to afford an engagement ring or a wedding. In total they were together for 50 or 51 years before the wife passed away.

This is not a tv show I should mentioned due to the disgusting things the guy who played the father in the show done but there was a show called 7th heaven the daughter Lucy and her partner were together for years and she was desperately wanting him to propose to her but he never done it when she wanted him too or when she expected him to proposed to her when she stopped asking and wondering that was when he surprised her by proposing to her. Ask yourself do you want him to propose to you because you desperately want him too or do you want him to propose to you when he feels the timing is right? Trust. me not expecting or sitting there wondering when he is going to propose will make the proposal so much more meaningful and heartfelt.
