I'd treat them with respect, but I'd never date them

I'd have sex with them, but never date them.

I'd date them short term, but never seriously.

I'd have date them seriously, but probably wouldn't marry them.

I'd be willing to marry someone of another race, but not have kids with them.

I'd have kids with them but never seriously date or marry them. (Fertilization clinics and sperm banks are a thing people.)

I am fortunate to have lived this long and to have remained married to the same woman for 50 years. When I saw the question posted it reminded me of a statement I made to my mother in law before I got married. Their household was typical for its opinions about race in a Northern Florida, Southern Georgia community. But the subject of would you marry a black woman was brought to the floor. My families background was Quaker/Methodist and the switch to Methodism occurred because the Quakers of Cardington, Ohio were slow in approving great grandfathers intended English wife. Well, I had a crush on Gladys Knight. at the time. So I answered her "If my first wife dies I will sample the field". She didn't like the answer. Humanity is a variety.

I would be willing to give it a shot. But there are bound to be cultural differences that will pose a challenge, and some of these differences may even cause disagreements between both parties in a mixed-race relationship.

Compromise, talking things out calmly and reasonably, will aid in resolving such issues. Ultimately, sometimes, the relationship may still fail, if the two really think that their differences are too significant, and that is ok. Just be nice and respectful about it.

I'm mixed and have only really been with a guy who was also mixed (Spanish and Caucasian) and a guy I like now is Caucasian, so I don't really know if I've ever dated outside my race entirely considering I'm half Caucasian, but I don't have an issue with any other races either

I do not believe i would have a problem dating someone of another race.
But there are some whose cultural differences would make it hard for me to have a relationship with them. But i believe that love is love no matter how you find it or with who.

I’ve talked about the one that got away for me on here before. She is an immigrant from Ghana who was awesome and is probably a doctor by now. I did date her and would absolutely have married and had kids with her.
