Part of the issue is you are coming off like you are quizzing them. Also, some might be off put giving up personal information other than a first name. I would just introduce yourself and let the conversation flow. Don’t start grilling them for info. They likely don’t want to fill out a questionnaire.

Start there and see if that helps. Also, try things other than online dating. I’ve never done it, but I have friends that have and the consensus is that it is rubbish.

Look around your local area and see if there are clubs or groups to join that you have an interest in.

See, that way you can meet new people (including girls) that already share a common interest with you. Easy to start conversations and break the ice. Plus, you also get to do something you enjoy.

I think online dating is superficial. Plus, for girls, it can be dangerous. So, keep that in mind as well that they likely have their guard up.

Very polite but also very... sub. Not all girls are up for asking those questions because many other things. But i know for a fact if your first greeting is "Hey, how are you?" then you like the rest of the fish in the sea and probably won't get a response.

Well, I’d advise talking to people IRL first, also People That don’t fit the demographic You’re looking to meet, so that you get more comfortable communicating.
