I am a single guy who is a bit shy and has approach anxiety. I was doing ok for a while, but am to the point where I feel like I am going crazy not having any females in my life. I am shy, but have been working on going out more, though so far, no communication has materialized. It almost seems like no women go out, or use the internet to connect with people, and do not check their dating profiles if they have them, (or are not interested in me if I message).
I have a deep desire to simply just talk to a girl, but have no outlet for it. I do have a full time job where there are females, but it's not an appropriate flirting venue, and I don't really consider it a viable option. I have some old friends here from a previous job, but we are not super close, and they are always very busy.
I am moving into a new house soon, and have my life together, but just cannot meet anyone, and the area I live in isn't very single friendly. I mean there is somewhat of a night life, but I am in bed early for work and gym purposes. I attend spin class and the gym, but even those aren't presenting much to me.
All the chat rooms and platforms I have found seem to be filled with scammers, or have unreasonable paywalls that serve as barriers for just communicating with other people. I remember when it used to be easy to find females to talk to, even if they are far away.
Now I am just lonely, and do not know what to do. Has anyone had any success finding a platform where you can communicate for free with the opposite sex? Even this website seems to have turned into a sausage fest, (no offense guys).
