We made plans yesterday in person, after going out last week, why not responding to text today?

We set up to meet each other at her place at noon, I texted her a bit before that if she was ready and I've gotten no answer yet

If the plan was her idea and that she confirmed it, then there was not even the need to double check.

She may have been getting ready, be in the shower or preparing lunch/dinner and did not hear her smartphone. Nothing to worry.

In cases like that, you just appear right on the time agreed (not before and not after), you bring her a some flowers or something to show your appreciation and that is about it.

There are plenty of good reasons why somebody cannot answer your text or message. No need to worry. If she could not have made it, then she would have contacted you.

She did answer three hours later saying she was throwing up all night. So yeah, good thing I didn't go! I do like the flowers idea though. I'll keep it in mind if she still wants me to go today or tomorrow or whenever. If she is in fact not just lying about what happened, which I hope she isn't cause we're too old for that and we've been friends for awhile

She texted three hours later saying she was throwing up all night. I will give the benefit of the doubt. Her phone's last seen was yesterday and now it shows the time when she finally answered. She has a lot of health problems I feel as she also got sick last weekend and during the week

Okay, if you have another opportunity. I was thinking of the Matrix SO we need to allow Time for them ALL. I’m thinking Martini, Long Island Ice Tea, Mint Julip or Mojito might be an appropriate refreshment…maybe Margarita BUT not beer 🍺.

THE POINT: Fun Guy…he’s a fun guy. So, even if do a different movie it has to be themed. SHE LOVES that kind of thing. Make CERTAIN flowers in circular vase at Michael’s flowers from Trader Joe’s. SUNFLOWERS 🌻 are always good and FUN 🤩. He’s sweet and fun.
Give her Creative Prerogative. If some classic like Driving Miss Daisy…. she’ll find the quilt that will match the Vase sunflowers 🌻 centered etc….
